Best Film at the Rome International Film...
POUNDCAKE took home the top prize from the Rome International Film Festival in Georgia this past weekend. We were also honored to be the Closing Night Gala Film… it was a wonderful night.

Newport Beach Film Festival adds an encore...
The good people at the Newport Beach Film Festival have added another screening of POUNDCAKE because of all of the buzz we have been getting out there. It will be this Thursday April 30th @ 3:30pm right after “The Brothers Bloom” at the Edwards Island Cinemas theater 6.

The Florida Film Festival Awards "POUNDCAKE"
“POUNDCAKE” walked away from the Florida Film Festival with two of the three possible awards… Jury Prize for Best Original Screenplay AND the coveted Audience Award. We are extremely honored to have received these awards from an absolutely amazing group of people… thank you Florida!

Official Selection 2009 Buffalo Niagara Film...
Going back to the place where it all happened May 7th… Buffalo, New York. We finally get to show POUNDCAKE to all of the wonderful people who helped us make the movie possible.

Our first screening was March 30th @ 8:45PM… according to the POUNDCAKE PR Team from UCF, the audience was about 80% full & loving it!
Director Rafael Monserrate, Writers/Actors/Producers Troy Hall and Kevin Logie were there for the second screening on Thursday April 2nd… SOLD OUT!!!! The Q&A afterwards was amazing, the whole audience… minus a few, stuck around to ask...

World Premiere of “POUNDCAKE” at the 2008 AFI Film...
November 2008. Both screenings at AFI-Los Angeles were sold out! It was an amazing experience to walk down the red carpet right before the premiere having pictures taken and doing interviews… pretty crazy!
